SoftReset is an application which will do a soft reset of your Blackberry Storm. It’s is much easier than removing and replacing the battery to reset your Blackberry Storm. You can find this and a few other applications over at geekandproud.net .

I attempted to click on the above OTA Link from my storm and I get an arror message: HTTP Error 404 Not found
Sorry about the link problem, it has to do with the mobile version of my web site which I will fix later today. A quick fix would be to change your browser to Firefox and reload the page but I hope to get this fixed shortly. Here is what you need to do after it is downloaded to avoid any problems. You need to go to Options>Advanced Options>Applications>Hit the BB Menu Key>Highlight Disable Compatibility Mode. After you do that it will work perfectly in either portrait or landscape and the keyboard will no longer pop up.

I downloaded it from geek and proud and when I hit the restart button, it did not do any thing. I also noticed that it does not work in portrait mode and the key board appears??
I had the SoftReset app working fine on my BB Storm until I upgraded the OS to the latest on Nov 2009. Is there an upgrade or do I need to do something else to make it work again? Thanks in advance…

I screwed if I used the wrong mep2 code 10 times?

I’d download softreset.jad, and when i’d check my storn, this is what’s happened to me, something is missing in my options !!
Options>advanced Options> after that i can’t find (Applications) otherwise i’ve accesibility !! How is possible? (Applications) is before in advanced options.
And the aplcations show me
( Third Party, Empty )
(Add-on, Msn Yahoo and others)
(Core, blackberry 5.0.0 Core Applications, blackberry 5.0.0 System Software, Browser, Email Setup Applications and Phone)
If I Hit the BB Menu Key, never show me Highlight Disable Compatibility Mode
I don’t know how can charge this softreset in my Storn and i really need put like new software because i wanna take chance get 10 times again for unblock my STORN…. Please somebody help to me…Thanks Alex
