Google Maps for Blackberry has been updated to Version 4.0.1. This new version includes a Google Buzz layer.
The layer can be turned on or off from the standard map, and you can now search by voice and use synchronized starring.
To download the update head to m.google.com/maps from your device.

Look what we have here, another leak for the Blackberry Storm2 9550 after we just got one about seven days ago. This one is OS 5.0.0.607 so have at it!
As usual, this is not an official release and is not supported by RIM or your particular carrier so install at your own risk. Always be sure to backup your devices databases as well as your 3rd Party applications.
In case you are a Verizon customer and you may have forgotten, this is a reminder that you can finally use Skype on your Blackberry starting today. If you have the Blackberry Storm 9530 or Storm2 9550, or other select Blackberry smartphones, head on over to Skype Mobile to get the app on your device.
Not much to say about this app but I know quite a few of our readers would enjoy this app at their next concert. Instead of using a real lighter to join that sea of lights at your favorite concert, you can use this novelty app by BIC on your Blackberry Storm.

Could this be the first images caught of the Blackberry Storm3? We cannot confirm the authenticity but this blurry image may fit the bill. The photo is slightly blurry but looks like the rumored body style of the BlackBerry Slider or otherwise known as the possible Blackberry Storm3.
